I know I’m not the only one, – apart from visits to the snow here and there, and the perfect excuse to indulge in hot chocolate, the only thing I look forward to in winter is the winter wardrobe; I love a good layering game and the sartorial edge we can add to our looks with a proper coat. Truth be told, it’s not every day I get to wear my ideal winter glam, but whenever I have the chance and in order to make my looks less heavy and sleek my out and about styling also incorporates garments I’d normally wear in summer or spring, (if the color suits the winter palette of course) such as a lightweight flowy maxi dress, paired with boots and a coat.
While we all tend to go for dark tones to increase the illusion of warmth, it doesn’t mean a dash of prints and glitz are out of the equation. With that said, I couldn’t let this Forever New maxi dress out of sight, featuring gold polka dots and long sleeves; IMO suitable for all seasons, as it can be dressed down in summer for a casual setting, or as I did in this case, for a special winter day, elevated with satin boots and a coat – also from Forever New!
Featuring Forever New dress, coat and accessories.
Last but not least, keep an eye on what Forever New has in store for SS19, I had a glimpse to their latest selection, perfect for spring carnival and occasion wear, -it got me literally counting down the days until spring arrives!
Whenever I’m shopping, Forever New is an uncanny destination along my route, – its cohesive selection of garments and that perfect harmony between classy and on trend styles, always meet my expectations. But seriously, the upcoming collections took my breath away – I was amazed by almost every look – if not all, from lady like dresses in heavenly prints , to elevated basics and contemporary staples. Whether you’re looking for your ideal occasion wear or your practical office gear, you can’t go wrong with what Forever New has in store, here a is sneak peek!
