We are #TeamPixel !!!- VAMFF Moments captured with GooglePixel2

As you might have already figured out by looking at my Instagram – capturing images has become part of my everyday life, whether for work or for the love of it, there is always potential in unexpected situations and places, but nothing compares to the thrill capturing Fashion Week moments brings to me – well, that’s not work, it’s actually a pleasure, so when Google invited me to join the TeamPixel during Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival  aka #Vaffm, to witness and capture the latest from the local talent on schedule with no other than my Google Pixel2, ( Which you can also see via my highlighted Instastories) I couldn’t say no! Although I have to say the runways were just the ice on the cake,  Google’s A List treatment was the best part of this experience from beginning to end!

Flying down to Melbourne with fellow bloggers was just fun to begin with, then arriving at the majestic Langham Melbourne was even better, what’s not to love?

For this particular day I went a bit “extra”, after all, fashion events are the perfect excuse to dress up! I’m wearing Shona Joy Dress, Witchery Jacket and Tony Bianco boots.

Arriving at our destination not without first posing at the media wall ….here with my talented friend Jenny Liu

While my pro DSLR is essential for certain content and work, ever since I’ve got my Google Pixel2 I don’t have to carry heavy equipment no more…., and what better test than a runway show to prove why this Google phone has arguibly the best camera, to capture clear and detailed images in motion from various angles, no special settings needed. Note, I’m capturing images from the second row.

Moments for Kacey/Devlin gave us a sleek and futuristic aesthetic, with silky and fluid silhouettes

Carla Zampatti always stands out – loved her edgy take in the 80’s silhouette

What an magnificent location the Royal Exhibition Center was….

The McGraw runway moments were also dreamy!

Bridal moments with the impressive display seen at the Harpers Bazaar Australia Bridal Show, graced by talented designers such as designers like Grace loves Lace, Rachel Gilbert, M.J. Bale and Toni Maticevski

And the next morning before going back home, was dedicated to capture Melbourne’s beauty! This exotic structure features Moorish Revival architecture which takes elements from various eastern aesthetics, adding an eclectic edge to this city’s landscape….

Til next time dear Melbourne, it has been a pleasure to be here one more time thanks to #TEAMPIXEL!
