Trend Inspo – How to wear green this season

Color de la esperanza, de la juventud, de los nuevos comienzos, en 2017 Pantone le cede el turno al verde – mas exactamente a la tonalidad denominada como ‘Greenery” invitándonos a incorporar este llamativo tono a nuestros looks. Evocando un despertar y como llamado a conectar con la naturaleza. Puede no ser el preferido de todas, pero definitivamente una apuesta vibrante para refrescar nuestro estilo en el presente año.

Pero que dice el verde de quien lo viste? Los colores juegan un importante rol en nuestra psiquis  y la forma en que percibimos a otros, siendo el verde un color asociado tanto a aspectos positivos como negativos, si por un lado es el color del crecimiento, en psicología su interpretación tiene matices mas amplios que deben ser tenidos en cuenta en primeras impresiones como en citas y entrevistas de trabajo. No en vano ha sido un color recurrente para caracterizar a los villanos del Séptimo Arte al ser asociado con la envidia y el egoísmo, – recordemos al Acertijo en Batman, La madrastra de Cinderella, y el Grinch entre otros….

Ahora bien, llevado en el momento justo, con un styling apropiado y ciertamente con el aval de Pantone como color del 2017 el verde puede ayudarnos a conectar con la naturaleza y empatizar con los demás al crear un aura de confort, calma y relajación, Te decides a llevarlo? The color of youth, hope, and new beginnings, in 2017 Pantone brings green as the color of the year, more exactly – the reference known as “Greenery”, inviting us to incorporate this shade into our looks, as a call to connect with nature. – It might not be everyone’s favorite but definitely a vibrant choice to refresh our style this year.

But, what does green says about you? Colors play a relevant role in our psyche and the way we see others, being green associated both with positive and negative aspects. Although it is considered the color of growth, in psychology, green comes quite complex, which should be taken into account when it comes to first impressions such as dates and job interviews as it channels feelings of envy and selfishness, – no wonder why it has been a recurrent color to characterize various villains in films  such as Riddler from Batman, Cinderella’s stepmother, and The Grinch among many others.

But worn at the right time, scenario,  proper styling and of course as excuse to channel the current trend, Green can put us in sync with nature and empathize with others by creating an aura of comfort, calm and relaxation.
